To elevate the status of Fresh Buko Juice and turn Lipa Fresh Buko Juice into a popular and accepted health drink that Filipinos can enjoy and take pride in, through the company’s commitment to product quality, standards and service.

How It All Began

Fruits of Life, Inc. started out in 1995 when fresh buko juice was served in either its natural shell or while plastic cups. VP-Marketing Kathleen Say saw the need for improved packaging for fresh buko juice that would be convenient, sanitary and leak proof. The primary consideration in the whole process was that it must not compromise the natural freshness, flavor and quality of buko juice. Thus, the emergence of Lipa Fresh Buko Juice.

Humble Beginnings

Initially, its very first customers were popular restaurants and establishments like ADB, MANN HANN, Chopstix, Sun Moon, New Sun Beam, House of Minis and DEC. The list has now grown to include other equally reputable outlets, sports and badminton centers, institutions and establishments such as Superbowl of China, Sukhothai, Subway, Phobac, Tender Bob's, Circo Grille, Thai B-B-Q, Macau, Music 21, Zaifu, Isshin, Longrain, Milky Way, among others.

Moving Forward

In the last 10 years, the Company has worked hard to attain its goal. By constantly improving product quality, standards and service, it has, to its credit gained BFAD approval in 1997. The year 1999 saw Lipa Fresh Buko Juice passing strict Japanese quality standards and was rewarded by its first airfreight shipment to Japan in that same year.

By 2001, Fruits of Life, Inc. introduced its sweetened Re:Fresh Buko Juice line in clear, leak-proof, sanitary 12 oz. cups that were sold in major schools and institutions like ABS-CBN, GMA, Power Plant Cinema, and Hapchang to mention a few.

The steady growth of clients, the new challenges and responsibilities - further reinforced the Company's commitment in maintaining quality and service. Point in fact is the Company's policy not to take on more if it is unable to assure them of a consistent 2-3x a week delivery schedule.

Recent Accomplishments

The year of 2005 so far has been exciting and full of challenges as the company further diversified its product line to serve its customers better. During the summer, Fruits of Life introduced Lipa Fresh Buko Melon which combines the benefits of drinking buko juice and melon into one convenient bottle. Around that time, the company also introduced its virgin coconut oil product: Lipa Miracle Oil. Finally, just this October, Fruits of Life introduced its Coconut Juice in Can with coconut bits. It has a longer shelf life than the Buko Juice product line and will therefore, be easier to export to other countries.

With all these innovations and the company's continual drive for improvement and customer satisfaction, the company received the prestigious Philippine Coconut Authority's Product Processor Innovator Award for Buko Juice just this August. The company considers this award as a true recognition of its efforts as it came from the authority in the coconut industry.
